GENERAL DATA

1. High Temperatures
With high temperatures (Ovens or Furnaces), it is necessary to provide suitable material and proper design to meet specific temperature conditions Stainless steel cable should always be used in temperatures in excess of 350º F to prevent stretch. Silicone or synthetic lubricants can be used with standard roller or ball bearings in temperatures up to 350º F. For temperatures over 350º F. Consult factory.
2. Plating
Standard ball bearings are used in the trolley wheels and roller bearings in the idler sprockets when normal lubrication can be used under mild corrosive atmospheres. Galvanized steel cable is also used under the same conditions along with zinc-plated trolleys.
3. Painting
In dip operations, unless degreasing or temperature drying ovens are present, standard bearings are used throughout. In spray paint applications, a shield or baffle is recommended to provide protection to the trolleys. In the cases of where spray painting is in the process (hand or electrostatic), we use a revolving carrier along with a rub rail to rotate the work for full paint coverage.
4. Automatic Pick-up and Trip or Ejection
These features, used for specific conditions, are common, but not standard in design because each case usually requires special attention.
Mechanical trip dogs, photoelectric cells, long stroke air cylinders and limit switches are frequently attempted. Trip stations for automatic unloading are often used in conjunction with roller and belt conveyors. Consult Factory.
5. Spark-Proof and Moisture-Proof Conditions
Consult Factory.
